A.D. was born and raised in Memphis, TN in a household that listened to many varieties of music. She has been mixing music for nearly 20 years, and DJing professionally for 15 years. House Music/Dance Music is her favorite, but she is well versed in many genres. She is excellent at putting her own "spin" on a mix which gives her a unique flair that makes her stand out from the rest. Whether it's  10 or 10000 people in a room when she is performing, she is going to give the audience everything she has every single time. A.D. has been curating mixes for her spin classes for many years and became the "aux god" in college always being asked to control the music and make mixes for events. DJing has just come naturally.

A.D. loves the fact that music brings people together. She insists that is the true beauty of what she does and why she is so passionate about it. She has stated many times that in a world that seems to want to divide everyone, it's so rewarding to see people come together and experience happiness when there is good music.
